Demuth Business partner was present on the second conference day of Austrian-Macedonian days 2015

Skopje, October 23rd, 2015: Demuth Business Partner GmbH together with its subsidiary BTS ArtFactory has been present on Austrian Career Day, which had been organized by Club Alpbach Macedonia, the Austrian Embassy in Skopje and Austrian Chamber of Commerce.

The first session, which had been moderated by Gunther Fehlinger dealt with the topic of “Youngsters making a better Europe”. Speakers have been Franz Fischler, President of European Forum Alpbach, Stevo Pendarovski, Adelina Marku, Director of Macedonian Diplomatic Academy, Gerhard Schlattl, Austrian Commercial Attaché in Skopje and Pishtar Lutfiu, President of Club Alpbach Macedonia. One of the outcome of this session has been that brain drain needs to be stopped and the environment for foreign direct investments has to become more stable based on long term strategies, whereas SMEs need to be strongly supported by perspectives and respective legal framework.

The second session dealt with the topic “From Education to Launching a Career: Transferring Good Entrepreneurial Practices from Austria to Macedonia. The session was moderated by Katarina Shapkova, Advisory Board Member of Club Alpbach Macedonia. Speakers have been Macedonian Minister of Education and Science Abdilaqim Ademi, Christian Rupp, Federal executive secretary eGovernment Austria, Christoph Demuth, Managing Partner of Demuth Business Partner, Olgica Spasevska from Sparkasse Bank in Macedonia, Gerhard Schlattl, Austrian Commercial Attaché in Skopje and Bernd Lösching from EVN AG. The outcome of the second session has been that real training and gathering of know how starts after university by training on the job, whereas line careers are not the only option for walking up the career ladder. Project Management, as well as Expert careers are an option as well and become more and more important. Especially Project Management positions provide a great opportunity for high potential to gather leadership experience.

Participants came from various countries, such as Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Austria and Turkey.
